Which WEB CAM works ?

I have tested the "Logitech Quickcam Express" and the "CANYON CN-WCAM21", but none of them shows any picture (when I press 'Preview' in the routers config page).

Where can I find a list of webcams that does work with the WL-500W ?

well... basicly the only real working webcams from easy to find brands are: logitech quickcam pro 4000 and an old philips one...

I got the quickcam pro 4000 myself and it works, on ebay you might find them now and then because they are all out of production

I don't recommend the logitech orb, since there are 2 versions of them... 1 works, the other doesn't, so you have a 50/50 chance it works

I finally bought a 'Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000' (second hand and very cheap)
Works well.


I don't get any e-mail alertion when motion detection

Security Mode Settings:
Enable Security Mode? : yes
Date to Enable Security Mode: all ticked
Time to Enable Security Mode: 00:00 - 23.59
Send to: mymail@domain.com
Email server: uit.telenet.be (my ISP)
Subject: Motion detection alert !!!
Attach image file? : yes.


The system log files shows however:
