Thread: downloadmaster freeze after complete

    downloadmaster freeze after complete

    Hi I have some problems with my new Asus WL500GP-V2
    its firmware is 3.0.3.5
    when I make some of bit download when the first one is complete after that this downloadmaster had freeze (Internet is still ok , I still could browse in this HD. and internet but download sessions is freeze)

    I had come to service center and change for another WL500GP-V2 but result still the same.

    my HD. is format as EXT3

    On this forum we do not use original firmware.
    Download Master is shitty.

    eventhough it's bad... I tought this forum is also about helping and being friendly
    and the original firmware actually uses rtorrent as far as I can remember

    so, the download master crashes you say... do you mean like the entire router or just the program on you pc? Is the file corrupted after download?
    and you say you have it formatted in EXT3, I tought original fw only did EXT2 and FAT

    Hi thanks for your suggestion
    file from download is ok no problems
    everything execpt download in working fine
    can I use Rtorrent on Asus Frimware ?

    well, that is good news then
    not sure if you run vista or xp, if you use vista, you might try compatibility mode, maybe it helps

    Rtorrent is actually installed, and automatically used as client from the download master (as far as I know)
    I just saw the folder ".rtorrent" in the time I used the original fw, so I guess it's installed
