Well ..... nfs installation is easy enougth,
1 Get latest Oleg's firmware sources, GPL asus sources and addver.
2 Modify kernel's config in Oleg's sources to enable NFS server features.
3 Get tcp_wrappers, jockey sad it not nessesary but i use them
    4 Get portmap, i took portmap5beta and debian's patches
    5 Get nfs-utils
6 Compile all above and put in your wl-hdd

    Enjoy ....

I'l put patches and firmware here after work.

    Ok,

but there is a little problem.
Get the files is no problem, but the rest (compile and others), that is a problem. I have make a Linksys uNSLUng for my Brother, that works with my Linux knowledge. I think i'm not so good in Linux to do this. I have an second PC with Linux Debian on it, for learning, but I'm at the beginning. Is there a way to load or get a ready compile Image, that I can load to the ASUS WL-HDD.
    Thank you greeting Stefan

    Hi,
what do you mean with mbs/s ?
    Is it MegaByte/sec or MegaBit/sec ?

Also, how dit you messure this??

    Ciao,
    Pepe

    2.5 megabytes per second

first you need to create disk partitions with fdisk then
enable swap with swapon and format partitions ...
    then mount them

to run nfs you have to upload nfs utils with http or ftp,
    then configure /etc/exports
run portmap mountd and nfsd .....
as in usual linux system ....
