Unhappy from XP to Vista: printer no longer works

    Hi,
In the past my mum was printing from windows XP to her Epson printer, via the Asus WL-500g router (TCP-IP printer port, RAW, port 9100, to USB).
    This has always worked fine.
But since she tries to do the same from a new vista PC...
=> the text is printed multiple times on the same page
=> after finishing the page, the printer drives detects an error and stops

Printing directly via a USB cable works, so it must somehow be related to the vista or the print server in the router.

Does anyone know what the problem can be? Vista or router related?
    Any advice?

    Thanks a million!

Red face from XP to Vista: printer no longer works: was there a solution?

    Hello wouterdm,

    I have a similar problem.
Also Epson on USB Port of WL500b. Every OS can print on port 9100 except Vista.
The printer does nothing, when printing a testpage.

    Whats wrong here?

Did you get a solution to your question?
Does anybody out there has a solution?

    WL500b, 1.9.2.7-7g

    thanks
