bump, anyone?
From the firmware change log.
**********
Added fine grained WPA control on the Wireless page: added separate WPA Enterprise, WPA2 Enterprise, WPA Personal, WPA2 Personal and WPA-Auto-Personal (which is wpa-psk + wpa2-psk for TKIP+AES, wpa-psk for TKIP and wpa2-psk for AES).

Hi all,
I have been trying to get WPA2 and WPA1 to work at the same time. WPA1-AES, WPA2-AES. The log mentions if you set WPA-Auto-Personal then TKIP+AES it will work as wpa-psk and wpa2-psk...... is that in TKIP or AES?
What is happening is that , WPA-AES is working, but WPA2-AES isn't working.
Does anyone have any ideas? On the other firmware I had before, I just had to set some parameter from the command line to get them both working.
Is there a way to get WPA-AES and WPA2-AES to work at the same time?
bump, anyone?
I'm running Oleg v10 and i've set the wireless mode to wpa-auto-personal, i get the following behaviour:
Windows XP SP3 slipstreamed with Intel 3945ABG : WPA2
Windows XP SP2 slipstreamed + WPA hotfix with Intel 3945ABG : WPA2
Windows XP SP2 slipstreamed + WPA hotfix with Sitecom : WPA
so it can do WPA and WPA2 at the same time...
WPA2 is eas by design.
The only thing I don't know if the WPA is WPA-TKIP or WPA-EAS.
(i'm guessing WPA-EAS, cause the sitecom didn't work in wpa-auto-personal, until after I installed the MS wpa hotfix)
i've tried everything!!!
I cant get WPA-AES and WPA2-AES working together.
I have set it as WPA-Auto-Personal (tkip+aes):
wl sec says 6, which is aes and tkip
wl wpa_auth says 132 which is wpa and wpa2
but only wpa1-aes is working. wpa2-aes isn't working.
I have no idea what I have done.
Then I have tried, wl sec 4 =aes , and wl wpa_auth = 128 or 132 or 4..... changing it will just seem to break it...
nothing seems to work.
When I get WPA2-AES to work, nothing else works. When I get WPA-AES to work, WPA2 doesn't work.
can anyone else help me? this is all on the new .10 firmware. it use to work on .7 i think
