    How can i edit a file?

    I need to edit the smb.conf file but what is the command to edit een file?

    vi /etc/smb.conf is your friend

    Be prepared to read some info about it. You have to type on letter i to edit
    when finished, type [ESC] : wq [ENTER]

    You should look for a tutorial on the web.
