I have installed the firmware it works but no internet, iti s vlan related, so if some1 can make a good cfg than it works also on v1 version of the router.

Here nvram backup v3.0.2.6 installed on V1

Edit// i have it working on V1, what you need todo is:
1) install oleg or original firmware for v1
2) make backup of config.cfg
3) install v2 firmware 3.0.2.6
4) load config.cfg
5) reboot Router
6) enjoy
Use it on your own risk.

Also firmware says that ther is no ethernet connection, but lan and wan works, only need to find out how usb works.
Also if you need to flash back to older firmware on V1 asus restoration wont work, use tftp command or util.

If this new firmware is subject to release and has not been distributed by Asus yet, so what is a way to get it released here ?
Is original firmware by Asus developed by third parties or by Asus itself ?

I don't know if I understand your question,

but this firmware is developped by Asus, but has not been released to the public yet

meaning I have received this firmware from Asus, with the intention to distribute it among other users at this forum, normally if this happends the firmware will be released in a short time by Asus on their own download pages (now it did not)

I have tried that, but i get only on wan port a public ip, on lanport4 no ip from my modem.

What i see is that dhcp deamon with standard settings use eth0 and on the v1 it use vlan1.

It runs very stable for a beta also speeds are also perfect, usb works only whene u enable wlan.

If i use this new version, it is possible to rollback to another or current version (2.0.1.5) if i dont like it?
Does anyone know if this version works well with the usb disks? For example, to mount an ftp server or to use download master?

Does anyone know if the ddwrt firmware, v24, supports USB on this router? Or know if there is a custom firmware that suports usb?

Yes you can always go back to older firmware via webpage update or via tftp.

I already instaled this firmware, and so far so good, its working very well. If anyone wants that i do some tests please tell me.

Usb works well, ftp, media server, etc... I do this tests with a 4GB usb pen disk.
Download master is ok, but torrents speed are a little slow. In some situations i add the torrent and takes some minutes to start downloading, and sometimes stops the download and stay queued, and then starts again. It needs some improvement.
I dont have time to test FTP/HTTP trought download master, i will test later.

I think it is not possible to extract the bin.trx file in linux, we need the Source of it.
