Hi,
I found out what the problem was:
The printer I connected to the Hub was USB v1.1.
When there is a USB 2.0 device already connected it leads to the 'not enough configurations' message.
Strange message...

Hi,
Today I upgraded to firmware 1.9.2.7-9 and added a usb-stick to my usb-hub.
Everything works as usual, except from the printer.
When I switch it on it does not get available...
The syslog.log shows:
I searched the forums for the 'not enough configurations' error but only found postings in Russian which I dont' understand.PHP Code:
May 6 22:10:43 kernel: hub.c: new USB device 01:03.2-1.4, assigned address 12
May 6 22:10:43 kernel: usb.c: not enough configurations
May 6 22:10:43 kernel: usb.c: unable to get device 12 configuration (error=-22)
May 6 22:10:43 kernel: hub.c: new USB device 01:03.2-1.4, assigned address 13
May 6 22:10:44 kernel: usb.c: not enough configurations
May 6 22:10:44 kernel: usb.c: unable to get device 13 configuration (error=-22)
Can somebody tell me what is going on?
Thanks.

Hello,
I'm having the exact same problem on 10. My USB1.1 printer connected to my 4-port hub is not working, if anything else is connected to the hub when WL500 boots. Hovewer it can be connected to the internal WL500 hub with no limitations.
Is it possible to address this bug in further releases?
Thank you very much guys for your work and this wonderful forum!
Same problem with firmware version 1.9.2.7-10.
This didn't work: (printing fails)
One harddisk to lower usb port. One printer and another harddisk via a hub connected to the upper usb port.
This works:
I have now connected my deskjet printer directly to the upper usb port and both harddisks via a hub to the lower usb port.
btw I did NOT have this problem with firmware 1.9.2.7-8
If you plug in the 1.1 device first and the 2.0 second they will both work correctly on 1.1 speed (i.e. slow). Maybe you get the error with the newer firmware because you plugged in the USB devices in reverse order than you did before.
