Hi everyone
I can't get my wl500gp to assign an ip address to my HTC Kaiser.
Whenever I try to connect my HTC Kaiser to the wireless connection on my wl500gp, I get successfully authenticaded (I can see it on the wl500gp web interface administration) but it never gets to assign an ip to the device.
Therefore the device ends up breaking the connection since it didn't get an ip.
I've also tried to assign an ip manually to the device and telling the wl500gp that this ip is assigned to the device's mac address - no luck either.
Can anyone help me out with this?
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm using the TYTN (1) myself (with wm 6.0 rom update)
I've had the same problem as you.. conntection, but no dhcp lease/ip.
I disabled the dhcp server in my network, and gave the TYTN a fixed ip (like all devices in my network have.).. then it worked ok...

Hi raas and avberk
Thx for your help, I tried just about everything (even your hint raas) and no luck.
I ended up bridging an old Speedtouch 570 I have with the wl500gp and now I'm using the wireless service of the Speedtouch.
Well, could be worse
Thx again.
For what it is worth:
-apply this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/893357 (for xp only)
-Maybe it worth updating the firmware to oleg (if not already)
