    USB speaker problem

    Hello USB experts!

I am using AC powered USB speakers with my Asus wl-500gP at one location.
I want to activate the speakers remotely at another location.
The problem is that the USB speakers get activated only by powering on the Asus. Asus reboot or Hub powering (using add'l Hub with USB speakers connected) won't help.

Is there a possibility to hard initialize the Asus USB port(s)? Or is there a way to simulate a USB activation signal for my USB speakers? Thanks for any ideas!

    Problem solved

I just removed the external button/indicator electronics board and now the USB sound device is recognized smoothly.
