How to chek hard drive heals

I have some problem with my 700ge/ Disk manager in the web interface tells me that the health of my hd is unknown what do i have to do? may be its something wrong with it? Look at the pic

If you have hdd spin down enabled, then you would have to have S.M.A.R.T. disabled and so no health info is available.

I'm assuming you're using kfurge's custom firmware?

I have standart firmware/ How can i chek disk when i start short test appears window that the test is started and then nothing else happens/ Besides after short test it tells me that everything is OK but when i try to start long test it says that that was an error of reading
