The 1.0.7.8 firmware looks for /shares/MYVOLUME1/opt/etc/rc.local. It's changed since 1.0.4.6.

There's one in the 1.0.7.8 firmware image in /opt/etc/rc.local.

If you're not seeing the firmware contents in /opt then you must have a /shares/MYVOLUME1/opt directory that is being mounted over the top. Flash the latest image (WL700gE_kc_1078_02.nas) then press and hold the copy button when the ready light blinks three times. Release the copy button when the ready light stays on steady. This will bypass any /opt customizations on your router and uses only the firmware. Look at the rc.local in /opt/etc. It'll be the one within the firmware image.

  10. Hi tebEeN!

I know my post will be off-topic, but I read you successfully ran rtorrent under kfurge custom firmware.

Please, write a step by step tutorial (in Tutorial section) how you were able to install and run it!

I think I am not the only one who interested in this topic.
