No, unless you add post-boot script, changing the bridge membership for the eth1 interface.
Hi all
i need setup asus 500g for this network:
wireless side (eth2) will connect to AP with ssid "test1" and IP 172.16.x.x
wan side (eth1) will be bridged with eth2 and has the same network 172.16.x.x
lan side will be nat-ted nad have ip 192.168.1.x
is this configuration possible with the last fw 1.8.1.7-3?
could you send me exact configuration, what i must to setup to meet my requirements?
thanx for any advice.

OK so in web interface, i will setup the bridge client mode, and ip in lan config page will be 172.16.x.x
SSID, WEP and channel will be setup via wireless interface web page.
then in post-boot script i will remove eth0 from br0 and add eth1 to bro with brctl
and then i setup IP for eth0 via ifconfig, and add record to POSTROUTING table to activate NAT.
Should this configuration work? Did you try something like this?
If this is wrong, could you write me working post-boot script, and what i must set in web interface?
Thaks for your help
