Hi,

I've used this forum to find help for configuring my WL-500g as a Wireless bridge.
With the help of previous posts on this forum I managed to even bridge a wired computer over WLAN.
This involved setting the 'Operating Mode' to 'Access Point' (IIRC, it's the bottom option on the config-page).
After that, it wouldn't allow my computer to be plugged in on LAN1-LAN4, but plugging it in the WAN-port did the job.
(FYI, it's a Linux-PC, but I can't get my Asus WL-138g to work under Linux.)
Everything worked well, for some weeks.
We moved and I decided to use the WL-500g as the main router. Just as I used it for years (before using it for WDS).
I reset the router about 8 times now, and still the LAN-/WAN-ports don't work.
I'm unable to flash the firmware, cause I need a LAN-connection for that.
Does anyone here have any idea what to do?
The WAN-port worked this morning, but after the reconfiguration it stopped working.
I want it to connect to my Ziggo-cable-modem (Ziggo is a dutch ISP).

The setup is like this:
Internet <---> Modem <---> WL-500g <---> PC's/Laptops

Settings:
Set using quick-setup, I chose for WAN=Automatic IP.
Manual setting it up gives the same result.
I DO get an IP on the Wireless, but the wired part doesn't give me an IP.

Please help. Thanks in advance.
