WL-500g Root-filesystem

Hey, im curious that is there any way to modificate the files of wl500g, to be specific i have deluxe. I have SSH connection into it so i can use it widely.


For example, everytime i try to modificate the "/www/index.asp" with "vi" the file opens in "Read only" mode.

Vi statusbar

- index.asp [Read-only] 1/719 0%

And chmod says that the whole filesystem is "Read-only Filesystem"

[admin@(none) /www]$ chmod 777 index.asp
chmod: index.asp: Read-only file system

Im quite ready to do anything required to get on this, please all help will be appreciated.

These files are located in flash, so they are really read-only. I would think you must build a new flash image to change these files.
