    USB and V4L modules

    Hi I'm a newbie on using redhat 9 and I have it running on my machine ,how will I know if USB and V4L modules are loaded,because I have a project to load driver for USB Logitech Quickcam Express webcam and before I could do that the following requirements must be met (1)kernel 2.4.x with USB and V4L support,
    (2) working gcc >= 2.95
    (3) kernel source for the same kernel,the symbolic link /lib/modules/'uname -r'/build should point to the same source directory.

    And I'm using kernel 2.4.20-8 with same kernel source and gcc version is more than 3.2.2 but not sure if is it working.
    Can you help on all procedures to follow to check tha

    you need to cross-compile for the wl500g, not just compile.
