What are the correct LAN's DNS servers

It works either way, but probably only one is correct... Namely, if the computers are connected to the internet via a (NAT) router/firewall such as WL500gP, which DNS servers are supposed to be listed in these computers' settings? Are those the DNS servers of your ISP, or should the router's internal IP be "the" DNS server for the local network?

    This depends on the router.

If the router has a DNS server or proxy it should be the IP of the router.
If not: Use the DNS of the Provider.

What's the correct one with WL500gP?
With my soon-to-be-ex router, it works either way. However, I can see in the log that there are occasional blockings of incoming attempts from ISP's DNS servers (remote port 53, local port - blocked on the router's side - in the range of 5xxxx or 6xxxx). I presume these come from direct requests from the LAN computer, since the router doesn't know what to do with them (whereas using the router's IP as the DNS server, these would probably vanish).
