It stinks that te only option to format the internal hhd without loosing the warenty of it is to flash openwrt into the wl700 then format the harddisk
then flash back the asus firmware so that asus can create his filesystem again
Openwrt or Custom Firmware on asus? - http://wl700ge.hezik.nl/ - Http://wl700g.homelinux.net
My ASUS collection: WL500gp(80GB usb-hdd - Running OpenWrt Kamikaze 7.09) | WL700gE(250GB - Running OpenWrt Kamikaze 8.09rc1)
hi again,
yes iv tryed to flash "openwrt-brcm-2.4-squashfs.trx"
also telnet into it sucessfuly, but when use
fdisk -l thein nothing happened
in tutorial is "When no drive is being showed try 'reboot'"
so iv tryed to "reboot" router.. and then dont telnet into it anymore..
when i get back ori asus fw 1076, hdd still no formatable.
also when i set router almost completely > and last thing change mode from bridge to AP then it save and reboot, but i cant connect anymore also..
need to hold reset buton what can be wrong ?
maybe hdd cable ?
