1.9.2.7-7g + ppp0e

I heard that most of ppl have problems with pppoe modems under 'f' version, that i can't connect becuse of some SUDO packets, MTU error etc etc.
Well on 'f' version all was working fine with me, but since 'g' version there is no way i can force my modem to work.
I was able to setup up just one connection and that was it.
Is there anyway to solve the problem?
