ich hoffe, mir kann geholfen werden :) Ich hab meine WL-HDD auf Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt (übers Webinterface). An ihr hängt eine alte Philips 680 Webcam. Die Wl-hdd läuft...

Mensch, da wär ich ja gar nicht drauf gekommen, dass nologin dafür da ist. Da brauche ich nicht raten.

Ich hätt aber schon gern einen Account, der keine Shellberechtigung hat für FTP Zugriffe....

Lösung:

touch /opt/sbin/nologin

nano nologin

--- nologin -----

echo go away oder auch nichts
exit

sorry for my question. I was trying to setup some ftp user accounts in the passwd file. Accounts with shell access works fine as ftp login, but when i use sbin/nologin to deny shell...

thats it. buildroot pkg was missing. I've installed it and now gcc is known in the system path as well.

did you have oleg or open/dd-wrt installed on your wl500 ?

when I do gcc --help i got ambigious command as a reply. So for my understanding my wl-hdd didn't know gcc ?!
