If the integrated ether-wake doesn't seem to work, try the following command:
ether-wake -i br0 00:26:54:0B:EE:50
Of course, with your MAC-Adress!

Well, I'm neither very linux experienced nor a hardware freak.
Perhaps I should stick to my linux router. It has more possibilities to test new software and tricks. Like asterisk, imap, and more
I would just need 2 pins of the serial port to control a 240V relais.
