im WL-700gE schon mal nicht .... da ist wohl eine sehr rudimentäre drin, die die suchfunktion z.b. nicht unterstützt, etc ..... ich brauche so was wie Twonky oder so, am besten nicht teuer ....

Actually, I can hear the spinning and specially cracking in the sleepingroom while the brick is located in the hallway some 12 m away ... and the door is just open (not wide open) ... but ok, I may...

Forget it. The brick is very noisy and you will hear the spinning of the HDD even meters and rooms away .... If I could I would bring it back for cash ......

Die Roku ist spitze, vielleicht ein paar ticks zu gross geraten, aber funktioniert tadellos....

Möchte reseten und dann einfach die Settings wieder aufspielen, ging ja wunderbar mit der WL-103, aber wo ist der Schalter für die WL-700 ?

I own a WL-700gE which works fine with my Notebook, I surf the internet and I can access the HDD. My notebook is an older one with only 802.11b. Data transfer is secured by WEP-128.

Now...

I have no idea with Linux, I am happy that my notebook works fine with win-xp ... Linux is for me like complicating life .... I am a regular pc-user .... but thanks anyway for kind help ....

OK all data again there and disk status: GOOD (green) but only when connected by cable, if wlan is used again disk empty and unmounted .... any ideas ?

its amazing ... I noticed after pushing OFF and ON again next morning that access wasnt possible any more and ALL DATA WERE GONE !!!!!

turn the unit to your side ... I mean I had the device with the antenna towards the wall and turned it to me and experienced an improvement in terms of data transfer

I experienced the same signal probs here ... and I doublechecked with my old asus wl-500b with no probs .... shame on it !!!!!!!!!
