I used the original FW for a couple of days before I found out about this page and the great features and stability Oleg's FW has to offer. :)
Please get this fixed, I am having the same problem with the new version.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the new version doesn't work for me either.
I think, I got it working now, I lost all my settings after changing something in the webinterface and restarting the router.
After setting up post-boot and post-firewall from scratch, the ports are...
PPPoE
I have PPPoE Relay disabled, could this be the problem?
this is my post-firewall:
[admin@(none) root]$ cat /tmp/local/sbin/post-firewall
#!/bin/sh
iptables -I INPUT 2 -p tcp --dport 80 -j ACCEPT
iptables -I INPUT 2 -p tcp --dport 81 -j ACCEPT...
After I had overcome all troubles with setting up the post-firewall script (to get the thttpd Server running) I realized that the script is not being called after reconnecting to ISP and rebooting...
After trying:
#!/bin/sh
iptables -I INPUT 2 -p tcp --dport 80 -j ACCEPT
iptables -I INPUT 2 -p tcp --dport 81 -j ACCEPT
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i $1 -p tcp --dport 80 -j DNAT...

only_from = 0.0.0.0/0 to /opt/etc/xinetd.d/vsftp
I could at least login to vsftpd, but the directory listing took VERY long. After that the ftp client...
This is what the logfile says when trying to accecc the web and ftp server from wan:
So, anyone has an idea, what my problem might be, because I don't really know if the port forwarding thing is ok.
BTW the ftp server also is not accessible from wan.
[admin@(none) root]$ iptables -t nat --list -n

I am trying to get wan access to the web and ftpserver running inside the WL500g.
This is what is says, I hope it helps:
-----------------------------------
[admin@(none) root]$ iptables -nL FORWARD

I changed the post-firewall to:
#!/bin/sh

iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 81 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 80 -j ACCEPT
