I bought the WAG54G and I never arrived to fix the wifi who die all time pb. :mad:
I replaced it with a little adsl modem and a wl500g, no more pb, everything works fine. :p

it was the 1.6.5.3 who was in my router when I bought it.

It worked well for me with the 1.6.5.3 firmware because in the begining I plugged the wl500 to the network I didn't paid attention to the option idle time disconnect and it was set by default to half...

I try the firmware 1.8.1.7 tonight, and will see what's going on, I am not good in scripting :D .

change your firmware because this one doesn't work at all for webcams. :mad:

I will try another firmware the 1.8.1.7 (hoping it's a good one), but the thing is that when it's disconnected, It need to connect again a few seconds after. :o

Behind my router, there is no computer connected (only maybe once a week) but just a usb webcam :o , and I just want to be able to watch what's going on with the webcam, so I don't do any heavy...

The thing is that I would like it to never disconnect (or to reconnect after a few seconds)

Look at the log, it connect at around 18h40 everydays ( I started it for the first time the 7th at 18h40) after the disconnections of the night, strange... :confused:

I just spoke with Alexis and he downgraded to 1.6.5.3 and it's ok.
We are 3 users now with this pb.
I have bought another one, I will try to find some time to check this one with 1.8.1.9

Trying this 1.8.1.9 firmware who seems not very good at all, disconnections problems, dhcp who give me strange ip who are not in the range 192.168.1.x and the freeze of the webcam more and more...

I was wondering if Alexis and I were the only ones with the webcam freeze under this firmware version ?
