Here is the content of my crontabs/root file:
01 * * * * root /usr/local/sbin/run-parts /etc/cron.hourly
I'll remove the root entry and try that.

My original config:
- root file in /etc/crontabs
- command line: crond -c /etc/crontabs -b
Launched crond -f : error /var/spool/cron/crontabs doesn't exist, so i created the directory and moved...
Works great on a Belkin F5D7230 v1222 ! Scheduled shell scripts executed with crond still not working though. (already had the same problem with 6a-pre5)

You could also do it like this:
First, store your modified dnsmasq.conf in /usr/local/etc
Then, and i suppose you already have a post-boot script, add the following lines to post-boot:
cp...
It works on a very old Belkin F5D7230-4 (hw 1222df) ! (with Oleg's 1.9.2.7-6c-pre5 firmware)

Hey, my first post here... just to let you know i flashed my belkin 7230 (hw version 1222dt with 4MB Flash/16 MB RAM and mini-PCI WL nic) with the latest 1.9.2.7.6c-pre5 fw and everything works fine....
