It should be a bug! I have upgaded the lastest firmware still got the problem. My DDNS must "manual" update everytime restart the WL500g, if disconnect the WAN (no restart the WL500g) sometimes can...

I think the problem is your browser's setting, see the manual to change the security to allow activex.

I found it can work if "WAN DNS Setting" select "No" and input custom ip provided by ISP.

If I using static ip, DDNS can work even if manually changed ip (see picture). If I using auto. ip or PPPoE, it has none response. So, I think a DDNS initial function working before get the global ip...

My ISP reply me they blocked the port 25 so that their clients can't send out spam mail. :(
