I believe you can try DNAT, however don't know how to do it on the wl500g firmware. Should be easy if you run openwrt as that gives you a shell interface which you can play with all those iptables...
this would also wipe out the nvram content which can be dangerous. If it really works, it is a good way to rescue those bricked units with messy nvram. But I read that trashing nvram would fail the...
Basically, you just exchange WAN with WIRELESS. But I believe there is a few things that you need to change :
bridge
The default configure bridge WIRELESS and LAN. You may need to break this or...
just curious, if I use this kind of splitter can each device attached still get the max bus power of 5v@500mA ?
Great, will test that out on my chrooted debian, just need to make the nfsswap working first though as I need more memory :D
An idea which you may want to pursue. I have been able to run a chrooted debian woody with WL500G. I run openwrt on it which I have installed dropbear(ssh) that I can connect into. Then I NFS mount...
While any distro should be able to do the cross compiling(quite possible that you can even do it under Mac OS X), I would suggest debian because it has the added benefit of having mipsel distro too....
If the libraries used in debian is compatible, you can use that. I doubt they are though. Actually, for the WL500G, you can use a little trick to try all the debian stuff, debootstrap a mipsel woody...
I believe what you need is some reading about Windows XP/NT/W2K. Your problem sounds to be purely setup issue in Windows, nothing to do with the router and firmware.
sounds like even they are not bridged(is that the default?) or that routing is disabled.
just for these feature, openwrt. In fact, I have justed packaged such a customized build of openwrt(ipv6+dropbear). It is pretty easy. I just use the 6to4 tunnel through 192.88.99.1 which surprising...
great.
Just wondering if it is possible to do it in a 'reverse' way about audio profile. That is, using my t68i as the mic/speaker for linux. Then I can find a voip port to mipsel and turn my...
is it just :
tftp the trx to ASUSPACELINK ?
I understand that there is a recover.sh there which seems to be the command to use. Just wondering if that ASUSPACELINK remote file name a must as on...
