Comparing CPU speed to Deluxe you can have 266MHz/200MHz speed improvement if you are using USB. This is factor 1.33 faster. My measurements on Deluxe are 1.8MB/s times 1.3 gives you 2.4MB/sQuote:

I'm still curious about the real-life performance of this thing. I might be willing to spend 250 euros to replace my WL500g Deluxe if the throughput of the WL700g is significantly more than what I have now. So who has done some serious testing with the WL700g and Samba/NFS mappings?
Not a serious measurement. But I stopped the time for copying a large file from the samba share, it was around 2.5 MB/s Not impressive. Copying from the share of an USB drive attached to the WL-700g was about the same.Quote:
