Changing the 'wireless channel' to something else might also help. (interference with other wireless accespoints)

My firmware is 1.9.7.5. Asus indicates just 1.9.7.7 to be above.
Channel change....I didn't see anything in the web interface for that. And I think it's useless because I don't have other's AP nowhere near me..
