sorry for the stupid question: I want to wake up my PC via Internet. I have turned on the remote management within my wl500g. How do I get the "shell-prompt"? Concerning the wl500g i only know the webinterface or do you mean the shell prompt within the remote OS?Quote:

Use ssh client to connect to wl500g, then type

ähm, I tried to ssh my router with putty (from wan-side) but get a network timeout. How do I have to configure putty to get it work?
Have you enabled ssh on the wl500g?

o.k., It works now within my LAN but unfortunately not from WAN Side (putty gives me a network timeout) As I am behind a firewall with a maybe closed port 22 I tried the tunnel-option within putty but I'm not sure how to configure that. Can anybody help me with that?Quote:
