Creating a new torrent with transmissioncli

Hi all

I installed transmission 1.42 following wengis tutorial and downloading works just fine.

Now I wanted to create a torrent. This can be done with transmissioncli. I used the follwing options:

transmissioncli -n /path/to/directory/ -a http://open.tracker.thepiratebay.org/announce -g /tmp/mnt/disc1_1/transmission/config/ test.torrent

The torrent file is created but doesn't show up in the webgui. What do I have to do to start seeding. Adding the torrent over the webgui didn't help.
