Hi!
I'm looking for a working iperf for my 500gP. Looks like it's available for other devices, but ipkg doesn't list it for mine. Does anybody know where I can get a working copy for the 500gP?
Regards,
Alex

perform ipkg update.....
Maybe you need this:
just use partitions of your harddisk or stick
hdparm -tT /dev/discs/disc0/part3
I've downloaded this one, but for some reason it doesn't work:
[admin@Wl-500gP tmp]$ iperf
-sh: iperf: not found
[admin@Wl-500gP tmp]$ ipkg list_installed iperf
iperf - 2.0.2-2 -
Successfully terminated.
[admin@Wl-500gP tmp]$ iperf
-sh: iperf: not found
[admin@Wl-500gP tmp]$ find / -name iperf -print
/opt/tmp/iperf
/opt/bin/iperf
/proc/7/fd: No such file or directory
[admin@Wl-500gP tmp]$ /opt/bin/iperf
-sh: /opt/bin/iperf: not found
[admin@Wl-500gP tmp]$ ls -l /opt/bin/iperf
-rwxr-xr-x 1 admin root 86560 Oct 27 12:53 /opt/bin/iperf
[admin@Wl-500gP tmp]$
Looks like something is wrong with that binary, because all the other packages are working normally.
Can you help me out?
Regards,
Alex
OK, my iperf works flawless.
All what I've done is to install anything according wengis howto, http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=10307
In particular item 5.) is important - ipkg.
Then I performed:
ipkg install iperf
that was all - then I started 'iperf -s' in a dos-windows on my notebook
and on my router with 'iperf -c'
When your progs are not found in /opt/bin aso., it looks like your profile is not complete: cat /tmp/etc/profile should show you all dirs where progs/binaries/scripts are stored. If necessary, you can edit your profile with vi and store it with flashfs save && flashfs commit && flashfs enable && reboot
But usually when installing everything according howto, it should be there.
Anyhow, just to allow you a comarision, find attached my profile.
BWT, I've running Olegs 1.9.2.7-8 on my asus
