Hi,

I would like to upgrade my asus a2500h notebook RAM. I bought a RAM chip that should be compatible (i am not sure till now). It is a 512MB DDR 333MHz CL2.5. My problem now is how to open then notebook to install the RAM. I removed all the screws( too many) and still the cover is not removable. Did anyone opened his made something like that before.

thanks,
Tam

Hey there. Had the same problem. The memory is under the keyboard. To get to it do this.

1. There's a small hole on the Right side of the panel above the keyboard. I thought that was a microphone hole, it's not. Stick a pin, paperclip or whatever will fit into the hole and slide the panel to the Left.

2. The keyboard will now slide up and out. Be careful of the ribbon cable in the bottom right.

3. The memory is under the aluminum cover near the center. There are two screws 1 long, 1 short that will remove the cover.

Reverse the above to put it back together.

Luck,
Jim
