Ok so I uploaded this firmware and everything was fine with the exception that I couldn't log online, it said something about DHCP.
I tried reseting the router in hopes that it will fix the problem but it only made things worse, now I can't find the wl 700ge using device discovery.
I shut down the router, reset another 3 times still nothing.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks

you connect with 700ge via wi-fi or lan?

I have the same problem, with the added step that when I stupidly went into setup and changed from gateway to access point and after rebooting, I cannot get to 192.168.1.1 to login. After the upgrade I had no WAN access and the network map had a big red x between the internet and router link. I will try resetting tonight.

I have lan connection, I will try and see if it's possible to reboot the router using the 1.0.4.6 firmware

reset the router to factory defaults and I'm back up and running after running through the start (setup) wizard to enter my internet dsl uname/pw. I think i'm keeping this firmware if I dont see any big problems.

How do I totally disable all wireless connections? (I use only wired and dont want any nosy/free loading neighbors using my connection)

Thanks-I'm kinda paranoid about unsecure wireless connections and prying eyes out there. Best way to have a secure wireless connection is to have it completely disabled.
