Samba wierd write access problem

[mathwizard]

Hello,
I use the default samba in Olegs 1.9.2.7-7g firmware. I just changed the share section to this:

[share]
path = /tmp/harddisk
writeable = yes
browsable = yes
force user = admin
directory mode = 0775
create mode = 0664

I can upload files to the root of this share and also to subfolders, however in subfolders, files will show up there but they will disappear in few seconds or minutes, without me deleting them. I have no idea how this is possible. Please help.

The file-system on the HDD was FAT32, so I reformatted it to EXT3 and the problem's gone. So I suppose, it was some wierd permissions issue, where the files were in-memory, but they weren't written to disk.
