merkwürdige WLAN Aktivität

Hallo,

als erstes: auf meinem WL500g Premium ist Olegs Firmware 1.9.2.7-7g drauf.
Nun ist mir mal aufgefallen, dass immer nach einer ganzen Weile die WLAN-LED anfängt zu flackert und zwar so: blink - blink - 2 Sekunden Pause - blink - blink - 2 Sekunde Pause - usw -usw - usw
nun möchte ich doch gern wissen, was da los ist.
Ein WLAN-Client ist nicht aktiv, an den LAN-Ports hängt zum Zeitpunkt des blinkens nichts! Rechner ist auch komplett aus (Stecker testweise aus Steckdose raus). Beim Netzwerkdrucker auch!
Nun, keine Ahnung mehr woher das kommt.

Ein Einbruchversuch ist es definitiv nicht, da das Geflacker zu jeder Tages und Nachtzeit ist...
Hoffe, dass einer von Ech eine Unregelmäßigkeit findet, welche das Problem verursachen könnte :cool:

ist WL-HDD als AP konfiguriert? Im WLAN ist immer was los, wie sollen die Clients sonst &#252;berhaupt feststellen k&#246;nnen, dass ein AP vorhanden ist? ;)

hier handelt es sich um ein WL500g Premium! Nicht um eine WL-HDD.
Eigentlich sollte ja gar keine Aktivität im WLAN statt finden, wenn alle Clients ausgeschalten sind. Daher kommt mir das ja auch so merkwürdig vor!

wo sollen die Broadcasts her kommen, wenn absolut KEIN Client am Router hängt, bzw. kein WLAN-Client eingeschalten ist?
Das breitstreuen der SSID (wenn überhaupt) passiert nicht aller 2 Sekunden...

also diese wlan aktivität scheint völlig normal zu sein, hab den selben router und er macht auch das selbe wie deiner.

der wlan router muss rund um die uhr ein signal senden sonst wärs dem clienten nicht möglich den wlan router im netz zu finden. wenn ich richtig informiert bin dann ist der client beim suchen nach wlan netzen nur ein empfänger und kein sender. d.h wenn der client keine signale auffängt dann meint er es existiert kein netz.

Das ist falsch. Im WLAN ist immer etwas los (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wlan#Infrastructure_Mode). Auf IP-Ebene ist natürlich nichts los, aber in den unteren Schichten des ISO-OSI Modells (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO/OSI-Modell) passiert schon einiges. Dabei ist die Übertragung der SSID nur eine von mehreren Aktivitäten.

Ich _vermute_, dass die LED die Aktivität der unteren Schichten (Schicht 2 oder 3) anzeigt.
