hi there. thanks for your reply... i understand from your reply that I can use icecast or maybe even itunes.. but from these programs.. how can I stream my music files???.. say my server url is myurl.com .... how can I include the files from this website into the library of this application?? I have a username and password for the shared files on this router hard drive.. I am assuming you are familiar with the linux environment of this device... so how can I stream audio exactly into icecast?? Please explain the connecting to my site step...

Icecast is a streaming server. Go read up on it at www.icecast.org.

You can also use mt-daapd (firefly) and use a ssh-tunnel at your work.

I've successfully used RendezvousProxy (http://ileech.sourceforge.net/index.php?content=RendezvousProxy-News) to stream mt-daapd on wl700 to an iTunes clients mac and pc at work.

Hi, first sorry to post this here but i havenīt found a forum on the 600G.
I want to be able to play from the external drive connected to my router. any of the above solutions would work on this model?

Thanks.
