Sure, I'm testing a 2Gb pen drive with success where to place aMule files.

to have a swap partition on a flash drive is generally not recommended, as it has limited amount of writing cycles. However, probably it will take couple of years before failure.

I donīt use anything else than a 512mb pendrive, the 2.5" 160gb hardisk from packardbell makes a strange noise and doesnīt work, maybe needs power ? iīm using the original firmware 1.9.7.2 as i donīt manage well typing commands in linux.
Definatly iīll attach a bigger pen soon, one advantage is that itīs silent while the hd spins.
Thereīs pens over the 4gbīs already so i guess itīs one of the best solutions if you wonīt need more space.
POweroutput isnīt much and itīs the only thing i blame using the original FW.
The 24db grid solves that prob :D
