Hello,

the ftp server (stupidftpd) creates his own folders in /tmp/harddisk
Is there a way to move the standard location to /mnt/ftp?
If yes, how? Or in which file are the settings for the stupidftpd?
I would stay on the stupidftpd deamon, because it can be configured with the WL500gP-Web-Interface (Simple user management)!

Thanks a million. :)

may be will be enough just:
ln -s /tmp/harddisk /mnt/ftp
Of cource, if hdd is formatted as ext3(2)

But in this way (ln), I have still the links directly on /tmp/harddisk.
I would move the 2 dirs "/tmp/harddisk/ftp_pub" and "/tmp/harddisk/ftp_pvt" to /mnt/ftp/ftp_pub and /mnt/ftp/ftp_pvt".
The reason is that:
I have a harddisk with /mnt/pictures /mnt/programs and currently /mnt/ftp_pub /mnt/ftp_pvt. If the admin logges on he can switch to /mnt/pictures, /mnt/programs and all ftp_pvt's. But the admin should not switch to /mnt/pictures and /mnt/programs. However the admin should be switch to all ftp_pvt's. Do you understand me?
Therefore I would move the 2 dirs "/tmp/harddisk/ftp_pub" and "/tmp/harddisk/ftp_pvt" to /mnt/ftp/ftp_pub and /mnt/ftp/ftp_pvt". In this case, the admin can swtich to all ftp_pvt's but not to /mnt/pictures and not to /mnt/programs!!!

Have you any Idea to move these 2 dirs?

try
serverroot=[FtpServerFolderPath]

in the configuration file (stupid-ftpd -f /test/ftp.conf)
