Hi,

I have Oleg's great FW in the fs of my router (wl500g Premium) and want to also be able to boot openwrt/kamikaze (just to test kernel 2.6) from the external usb flash stick. How can I accomplish this without flashing my router? Thanks for your help.

The kernel has to be in the flash, so this is not possible.
Flash it with OpenWrt, and if it's not OK, reflash Olegs FW.
