Hello,
I just bought a second router from brand SMC. This SMC router has a Wlan function. I connected with a cross cable the SMC and my WL500gp router and turned off the DHCP function of my SMC router.
Now, when i connect with wlan on the SMC router, i can't get a IP adress. The computers that are wired connected are working fine, only the wlan does not work. Why is this?
Do i need to configure something in the WL500gp to make the DHCP also working over other routers?
Oh i have not upgraded any firmware in any router. Maybe it helps...
