I bought asus Wl-500b with original firmware v1.8.1.9. I want to use Telnet, Client mode and Qos. A can't find firmware for it. Everywhere i found only Wl-500g firmware.

What I can do?

Hi all,
after firmware upgrade from ??? to v1.08.01.07 my wl-500b not work... led diods blinking like usual, but 192.168.1.1 page not shown up. Ping not responding, wifi site not shown up et. Is DEAD, what can I do? (I tried reset)

Please help...

I use the same router. On my router the firmware (1.9.2.7-7f) run fine.

Check first the version. version 1 is a broadcom wlan-modul. Else you have version 2. If you don't know, it doesn't matter. Only wlan don't work if you take the wrong one.

Then use the program call 'firmware restorator'. You find it on the cd of your router. It's a little bit difficult to get a connection, but it works! See also in your manual how it works.

After that do a reset of your router and everything is fine!
