Enable PHP on Asus Firmware

Hello,

I am totally new to Linux os and have just bought the WL-700gE and want to enable PHP on the asus firmware. Does anyone know how to do it? Or do I need to upgrade the firmware?

If I DO have to upgrade the firmware does that leave my data in tact on the device?

You can't add anything to the Asus firmware. Good news is that flashing is quick, easy, and nearly foolproof.

Flashing the upgraded firmware will not touch any of your data. However, it's always prudent to back up your files first.
