Hi there,
I'm thinking about a way how to encrypt the internal hdd (or some folders on it), using a password or an usb-stick as a key. Has somebody already made some experience with this topic? It would be sweet, if I could insert my usb-stick, access to all the files, remove the stick and any access would be blocked =)

Are you sure you want to do this? Disk encryption uses a lot of CPU. It gets annoying even on a powerful desktop CPU. It would kill the tiny CPU in the router.

If you still want to try, I guess the simplest way to go would be the FUSE package (provides the FUSE kernel module and utilities -- if they're not already in the firmware you're using) and the EncFS userspace encryption utilities.
