Hi everyone,
I was wondering how the parallel port control works in Oleg's firmware, and whether I can work out a way to use that information to make the parallel port work in the DD-WRT firmware for Asus (which for some reason doesn't support it).
I did some searches, and it seems to me that there's 2 kernel modules responsible for the parallel port -- parport and parport_splink. However, I couldn't find packages for those, and I'm not enough linux-savvy to go find the sources and compile them myself. Would it even be sufficient to install the modules and load them?
I know this is actually rather a case for the DD-WRT forums, but I never get any responses over there, and since the parallel port works so well in Oleg's firmware, I thought I'd give it a shot here.
EDIT: Damn, typo in the subject, sorry..
