I run a win 2300 vpn server behind wl500g and clients disconnects after one minute or so. It has done that with bios rev 1.7 - 1.89 . I have tested with putting the server i dmz and even virtual server (p:1723 protokol 47) both disconnects after ca minute. Conclusion , it's not stable. I owned a cheap billion router that worked fine (BIPAC-640AE
). Somebody expirenced something else ? :confused:

GRE is protocol 47, its because of netfilter_gre in the kernel. If you want to download my custom firmware which supports GRE (or protocol 47) VPN try getting this firmware file I built (its exactly the same as 1.7.5.9-5 but with the exception of netfilter_gre removed from the kernel)

Let me know if it works out, you will most likely have to use the reset button for it to work as I had to, set the machine you want to recieve the VPN to the DMZ and it should work!! Good luck!!
I will be removing the file within a week so get it while you can!

I downloaded it and gonna try it out. I sendt Asus the same message and I hope they fix it in their next update ..
