hi,
I need to use wl-500b as "transparent client" for one machine, ie. no NAT. I want it to forward everything from eth0 or eth1 (not neccessary from both of them) to eth2 & vice versa, without looking at IP addresses etc (OSI layer 4??). limitation to 1 MAC address is ok.
something like "MAC cloning" of D-Link.

I've tried 13_x_ClientMode=2 (Oleg's fw), that wasn't working, then `brctl addif br0 eth2`. `brctl showmacs br0` returned list of MAC address including the one of AP. but testing with ping was not quite successfull, only about 3 packets passed, than nothing :-(. there's no switch between wl-500 and my PC.

this should work with 13_x_ClientMode=2 and wl500g switched to AP mode.
You may also want to try 1.8.1.7 or 1.8.1.9 for "native" client mode.

thanks, currently I'm running OpenWRT firmware ported to wl-500 and it's working. your firmware worked, too, but I don't need stuff like web administration or webcam. thanks anyway.

btw, is there some kind of documentation of the `wl` command? or something about the wl.o module?

Nothing except wl output. Just type it with no args.
