I have the Asus WL500g connected to an Ethernet-ADSL-Modem.
Over the WLAN I surf with my Laptop Asus M6N, IP: 192.168.2.x
Over the LAN I surf with my PC, IP: 192.168.1.x

I'm a network newbie, so I don't know how to see my Pc on my Laptop-Netwerk to exchange files. Sure I can connect my Laptop to the LAN, but this is not a practical solution.

I will now experiment with Windows, but maybe someone knows a nice and easy solution...

disable the wireless firewall (at your router), your notebook will get an 192.168.1.x IP then, and then you'll be able to see your pc and vica versa

Thank you for your answer.

I had the router configured like this before.
Now I get back to this setup - the only thing was, that because this bug http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=412 I had to reconfigure all my "Virtual Server Applications"...

But now everything seems to go like I want...

N.B.: I use DHCP & Manual IP Assignment and this goes well combined with "Virtual Server Applications"
