Read the label of the power supply of your WL-500g.

thnx bro:rolleyes:
as label specification...

DC output: +5V - 2A

so , i understand the power ratings. If i use a rechargeable battery ratings of +5V-2A , then would it be possible to give power to ASUS?

if possible, is there any commercially available rechargeabla battery pack of same ratings?:)

teoretically if you'll have batterypack with specification 5V / 2000mAh you'll be able to use Asus for approx. 1 hour
but the pack myst be able to supply 2A :)

Other posters to this forum have said that the 2a is a peak rating and that average current is closer to 800ma, depending on just what you ask the device to do.

yes, but you must take note of this worst situation - otherwise your asus may occasionally reboot...
