Hi there folks,

I know that this router has some special features, but was I really need is super-hyper-mega power regarding P2P, specially torrents...

So, I need to know how many concurrent connections this router is capacle of managing simultaneously...

If there's other router (ASUS or not) that you may recommend for P2P performance, please take a step forward and tell me :)

Thankx for your support ;)

Configurable option. 4096 default. Can be increased if allowable RAM permits.

You're referring to the WL-700GE, right?

And what do you mean by "Can be increased if allowable RAM permits"?
I know that that the WL-700GE has 64MB of ram memory...Is it enough to put more than 4096 simultaneous connections?

If yes, is the CPU good enough to handle them?

Thanks for your help!

With custom firmware You can always do

echo "8192" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_conntrack_max
And if you do not hit tablef full message then you are on the safe side.

Is there a console in the router software where I can insert that command?

If yes, how do I access to it?

Thanks again!

install the custom firmware, and you will have telnet access... There are lots of posts about this around the forum.
